Attn: All Wyoming USBC Bowlers – Proprietors and Wyoming Bowling Centers
On June 6th, the Wyoming State Bowling Association Board Members met for the summer meeting and voted to cancel the 2020 Wyoming State Bowling Jamboree. The reason behind the cancellation was two-fold. First, the Women’s State Tournament, the Open State Tournament, both Hi Five Tournaments, and the Wyoming Youth Travel League were all cancelled. There would be very few winners to be recognized. Second, the Red Lion Inn, where the Jamboree was to be held, is experiencing staffing problems and other issues relating to the Covid-19. They are uncertain if it could even hold any event in the near future.
We will also cancel the delegates meeting as well.
Hopefully, our country and state will recover from the problems we all are experiencing right now. We hope to see everyone next year for the Jamboree. Please remember your local bowling centers this summer and fall and sign up for leagues. As a bowling community, we need to stick together and get back to having fun BOWLING!!!!

RE: CANCELLATION OF THE 2020 WOMEN’S STATE TOURNAMENT AND THE 2020 OPEN STATE TOURNAMENTS.
Dear WYOMING STATE USBC MEMBERS:
The Wyoming State USBC Board of Directors have decided to cancel the 2020 Women’s State Tournament and the 2020 Open State Tournament. With the uncertainity of what is happening in our country and state, the Board feels that this is our only viable option at this time. South Dakota and Utah have already cancelled their tournaments. This decision was made after many conversations between board members, tournament directors and proprietors. We hope you can understand our concerns about the tournament being held and also the safety of its bowlers.
The process of getting refunds to all of the bowlers will begin this week. Please be patient with us in this process and hopefully we can have the refunds back in @30 days.
We will keep you posted periodically.
